微信自身的设置中，默认会同步备份您的聊天记录在云端，以便可以在不同的设备间查看这些聊天记录。对于PC端微信来说，本地存储了一些消息数据，如果您想要清理PC上的微信聊天记录，您可以按照下面的步骤操作：
1. 登录微信后，请打开主页面的菜单（就是左上角的三条横线或者倒三角的图标）；

1. Log in to WeChat and then click on the menu icon usually located in the topleft corner of the window (it looks like three horizontal lines or an inverted triangle).

4. Look for an option called "Manage" in recent versions or "Messages File Directory" in older versions and click it.
